We won a prize!

WooHoo! My precious little D.J. won one of these from this amazing blog. I can't wait to take a picture of him wearing it. Thanks John and Sherry!

Good Article

I read an article from this http://www.seriouslifemagazine.com/default.asp magazine that was very interesting. It was called Experiencing Spiritual Reality by John Barnett. It was about praying over our children. Very simple, but thought provoking.
Here's the list:
1. Pray that they will be genuinely saved.
2. Pray that they will love God's word.
3. Pray that they will live victoriously.
5. Pray that they will love thinking about Heaven.
6. Pray that they will find sin REPULSIVE.
7. Pray that they will stay tender toward God.
Good stuff and it's never too early (http://fluffyfashionablefamous.blogspot.com/) or too late to start doing this. BTW, this is a free online magazine that has lots of great real life stories in it.
Hope you are all having a great Wednesday!

Blog Update

I finally added a picture to my About Me. That silhouette thingy kind of freaks me out a little. I know it's sad to say, but we have a family picture from when The Rock Star was about Silly's age and that is it! Boo! A sweet friend took some pictures for us and I wanted to share a couple with you all. The first one is so sweet-sibling love. Ha! I thought they were going to kill each other before we got this one. You know 14 year old boys and 5 year old girls really do NOT have much in common. Sibling or not. One day they will appreciate one another. I love black and white pictures. The second is just as sweet and the third is a good one of me & Big Poppa. We've been married almost 16 years. WooHoo!

Unitl tomorrow.

April Fool's Day

OK, I have a confession to make and it ain't no April Fool's. Last week Big Poppa was off from work a day during the week and Silly caught wind of this. (Hence my last post) She decided she is not going to school and is going to stay home with her daddy. Because I am always on time (yeah, right) I was like whatever and me and The Rock Star were out the door leaving Big Poppa with.....There are her clothes, if you want her to go then get her dressed and take her. Needless to say she got to stay home.
Big Poppa was off today as well. He dropped me off first, then The Rock Star, and then Silly. I get a call from him about 30 minutes later saying Silly had hit the teacher, flung herself on the floor at school and refused to go with her because she wanted to go with him. I was thinking well that could be true (the flinging part not the hitting part because we don't hit), I mean she is 5 and sometimes they do flail about. He proceeded to tell me that we had to go in for a conference about it and I was like I am not going, um, you are off you can go. That's where the April Fool's part came in. I did not think it was very funny. Maybe it's because I am a little sensitive when it comes to my babies and teachers. Anywho, I do feel the need for a little revenge. Anyone got any good ideas?
On another note, The Rock Star is officially passing all of his classes. Thank you Jesus!
